In an audio tape posted on the Internet on Thursday, the purported leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, threatened to kill more security personnel and kidnap their families, and accused U.S. President Barack Obama of waging war on Islam.
That was George Bush, Obama is not a war with Islam, he is only killing those troublesome Muslims, killing infidels, while on Jihad.And as my President has said. Jihad has nothing to do with Islam.
Qaqa said recruits from neighbouring Chad, Cameroon and Niger had joined the group.

Even if you are a Muslim and you don't abide by sharia, we will kill you. Even if you are my own father, we will kill you.
What a loving ideology, I can see why it's popular.

Look at peaceful Muslims from the wealthy, peaceful Arabian Gulf such as my self, I am educated, I speak over 10 languages, I have money but give lots of it to the poor, I have a nice, comfortable life and am happily married and treat my wife like a princess. I have had the opportunity to travel to other places such as Europe, America, etc and I have known what other cultures are and I have a deep love and appreciation for my own Arabian culture, and my wife's Indian culture. I am against terrorism and violence and I realize that MY religion is truly the religion of peace, and those terrorist nutcases are just illiterate violent extremist farmers and they are my enemies... I am a true Muslim

He replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have."
Left unsaid is not accepting Islam can lead to the confiscation of property (Booty in the Islamic sense) loss of life,enslavement of Wife and children.

Is she allowed to drive?
Can she leave the house without a male escort?
Being "treated like a princess" isn't all it's cracked up to be if the "princess" is locked in a guilded cage.

Ah...just looked at your page. Saudi Arabia eh? So I guess wifey won't be driving herself to the Mall today. Your country legislates the oppression of women under the guise of religion. That sounds pretty damned disgusting to me.

Um,.. Im Saudi myself but I dont agree with that law. The intention was NEVER to oppress women but rather to protect them from car crashes lol but yea I think its ridiculous for this day and age. When we go to UAE (Dubai), Qatar, Kuwait, the States, or Europe, she drives but to be honest she doesnt like driving and even when were in the States or Dubai she asks me to drive her around lol

1. Like I said, we travel a lot but were in the States now, and Doha, Qatar is our next stop.
2. Yes she has an education, and she speaks 3.
3. Yes like I said in my previous comment, she can and does drive but she prefers me to drive her around but I let her drive whenever she feels like it.
4. Yes she does regularly leave the house without me even knowing about it sometimes and I call to ask where she is and shes always with friends and Im like "Its cool babe" ^_^
And one more point, I always always ALWAYS regularly ask her "Are you happy with me baby?" and she says yes, but if she wasnt happy then I'd try my god-damn best to make her happy. I , like Im sure you are also, am disgusted by men who "lock women in a cage" by forcing on them things they dont want, etc. I make sure my wife is happy and does what she wants in life.

I'm glad you don't agree with it but I can't see any women happily living in a country with laws like that. Perhaps you could organize a group of like-minded friends and start fighting these oppressive laws. I know many of the laws imposed in countries like this are not, strictly speaking, Islamic or even in the Q'uran. But people let their religions over-ride everything else. The American Christian act like they are so shocked, but it isn't THAT long ago that they were treating women like property ad using THEIR holy text to justify it.

But yea I actually know and live with Saudi women, and it may surprise you but MOST actually like it in Saudi better! My mother lived in the States for a while when she was studying and she had to drive herself to class almost every day and it became a burden on her and she HATED driving and when she came back to Saudi, she was GLAD to have men drive her around like a princess =P But of course there are some that would like to drive and I believe they should be given the chance. The Al Saud ruling family actually WANT women to drive, but it is the CO-RULING Al Alsheikh religious cleric family that have passed that law, and Saudi royals and lawyers have been trying to override that law for years and I think that women will be able to drive soon. Its actually a complicated story in Saudi Arabia because b4 we were united as a single country by the Al Saud/Al Alsheikh Alliance, we were independent Sheikhdoms and there was one called Ha'il (where my mothers tribal origin is actually) that was ruled by a woman 100 years ago! So women actually had WAY more power in Arabia 100 years ago and b4 and other parts of Arabia has had female rulers too, its just recently the clerics passed these laws but they will not last long... But yea the other Gulf countries are better representations of true Arabia and Islam. I always mention Dubai cuz ppl do watev they want ^_^
